Work hubs are an increasingly popular concept in the UK. The idea is to provide individuals and small businesses with office services, such as broadband, IT support and meeting rooms, but rather than paying a monthly or yearly lease, you rent space as and when you need it. 

Devon County Council has commissioned research into the potential need for work hubs in six towns, including Barnstaple, while North Devon+ is funding research on the need for a work hub in Ilfracombe.
